Structural characteristics

– A variable section melt made of pure copper/silver sheet (or wire) is enclosed in a tube made of high strength porcelain or epoxy glass cloth tube.

– The molten tube is filled with chemically treated high purity quartz sand as an arc extinguishing medium.

– The two ends of the melt are solidly electrically connected with the end cap (or contact knife connecting plate) by spot welding.

– The fuse body may be equipped with an impactor. When the fuse body is blown, the impactor will act immediately to push the micro switch.

– Send out various signals and automatic switching circuit.
