Transformer refers to the use of the principle of electromagnetic induction to change the AC voltage device.

A transformer is an electrical device that transfers electrical energy between two or more circuits through electromagnetic induction. It is commonly used to increase (step-up) or decrease (step-down) voltage levels in alternating current (AC) systems. Transformers consist of primary and secondary windings wound around a core, typically made of laminated iron, to efficiently manage magnetic flux and minimize energy loss.
